Tundra Brake Mod softness finally solved

The brakes on the Tundra use a cantilever system to make the brake pedal feel shorter.

Also, would the SS Brake lines also help with the "Softness" issue?
I know it made the brakes in my Accord extremely sensitive.

Is that a bolt on affair to swap out the pedal mount with the sequoia one?

Now we know, even though mine is pretty tight with the Sequoia calipers.

+1 if this will be put into your 4runner.

A good bleed job and my pedal still feels just as firm as it did with the stock brakes, not spongy at all.

But I would still be very intrigued to see this in a 4runner..

I would like to see this also and know if it is a direct bolt on. Mine has firmed up quite a bit but it has probably an inch more travel before it hits the hard braking point.
Can't wait to hear if this fixes things.

This will be interesting! Will keep an eye on this thread. Another note, I have the 231mm calipers and the pedal is decently firm. Assuming there is NO air in your brake system, properly adjusted rear brakes is the difference between a firm and a low brake pedal.

Ok, now I'm listening. I went to a mid 70's blazer MC with my rear disks. Still have the oem MC, but lines had to be changed.
