Tundra Brake Upgrade - How much to grind with stock wheels

Well I know the title says most of the story. I have a 97 limited with the 16in split 3 spoke wheels. Does anyone know how much material would need to come off of the caliper to clear the wheels? I have a set of aftermarket wheels that will go on with the lift, but do not feel like stretching the stock 265's over a 16x9 wheel. I thankfully have a friend that is a parts distributor so calipers, rotors and pads will only cost me $222.00, so I am not too worried about damaging the look of the caliper. Just wanted to get an idea before I pulled the trigger.

It will depend on which calipers you want to run. If you go with 199mm calipers, you don't have to grind anything. If you wish to run the 231mm calipers you'll need a wheel like the 5 spoke or a Tundra wheel. There are threads on here that go int detail about fitting these calipers.

Dude just buy 1.5" wheel spacers. I believe they go for $150-$175.
