3" on the Tacoma 5100's [MENTION=60147]the great him[/MENTION] is running them on Tundra 5100's

I run them on the second to bottom perch with a 3/8" top plate spacer... I have 3" of lift up front.

With all that weight I never had a smooth ride with the TRD coils.

I'm running ss 7.2 with the "official exact right coils" off the right year and trim. I'll say mine are pretty firm. Definitely not Cadillac, but not crazy stiff either. Honestly I'd like it if they were a little softer for DDing, but they feel like they'll be the perfect firmness off-road as is.
