Tundra Forum?

Well this is a pretty random thread. Its been about 2 weeks since I wrecked my 4Runner. I'm pretty sure its totaled, but still waiting on insurance to tell me if it is so or not. Kinda hoping its not, I really enjoyed my 4Runner, but I did miss having a truck.

So, with that being said. I know some of my family members and friends have Tundra's. They really like theirs. I'm thinking about going that route to get one. Anyone have one thats on here? (Probably so since its a Toyota forum)

Also, what are some good Tundra forums? What are the popular ones?
Its either get a Tundra CC truck or a Silverado/Sierra CC.

If I go the Tundra route it either be a Limited or Platinum.
If I go the GM route, it be a LTZ or SLT between Chevy and GMC.

Thanks guys.

Thanks man & yeah the forums can get like that. Just gotta have a tough skin.

+1 for Tundra solutions. My BIL has a 2013 Tundra with the 5.7. Nice engine but can be prone to problems. Don't bother with the 4.6 engine. I love my 04 with the 2uz.

In VA and in SC where I live and roam, most trucks owners prefer Chevy/GMC over their American rivals. I'd take the GMC over the Chevy, a nicer fit and a little more attention to detail. In fact if I were looking for a full size right now the Sierra would be my first choice.

Good luck.

I used both forums but oddly ended up on the Expedition portal the most. Good luck, I loved my Crewmax. Pretty sure my whole family did cause they bring it up whenever they see one that used to be like it.

As a current Tundra owner, I'd reluctantly have to +1 tundratalk.net For the most part, a great site, but one of the vendors on there has way too much pull. I have a friend of mine who was banned for life for basically being honest about the main product the vendor sold. I used to be very active on the site, and I still go on there when I'm bored. There is a ton of good info though, from suspension to audio and everything in between.

Yeah its either get a GMC Sierra 1500 SLT between '10-13 years, they look so much better then the Silverado in them years before the new Gens came out. I would love to get a new '14 or 15, but I can't afford it.

Its hard as hell to find a 6.2L in these trucks, thats what I want. I don't want a Denali, they came standard in the Denali's, but still. I like to have a select-able transfer case.

If I get a Tundra it be a 5.7L, Limited Crew Max in black between the '08-'13 years. I like how they have a lot of room inside. Plus, they look pretty sweet.

Seems to be a lot of good info on there. Been on there for a couple days now.
What years is yours?

All these used prices are freaking crazy, might as well buy new.
Like I said, can't afford it, though.

I've got a 2013. DC. My handle over there is hidtundra. Good luck with the search. Toyota holds its value. One of the reasons I live them.

I'm probably gonna get a GMC Sierra Denali truck if I can't find a Toyota Tundra Limited Crew Max that doesn't have a crazy amount of miles or too expensive.

If you are getting a truck, go diesel! You'll never look back lol. Honestly though, if Toyota ever brought a diesel tundra to the states, I'd be over it like white on rice. Maybe soon, for now, I got a GMC Sierra Duramax.

If money wasn't an option. That's what I would get in a heartbeat!! Brand new GMC Sierra Duramax!

Back to the real world, I'm gonna try to get a 2014 SR5 Crew Max. So many Double Cabs & no Crew Maxs.
