Tundra/LC Lift

Hey everyone,

So I just purchased a set of strut assemblies (coils and struts) from a junker for an '03 TRD Tundra as well as LC80 springs to do the lift on my 4Runner. Paid $190 for everything with shipping. The question I have is, what else will I need in order to install these? I was just planning on running my OEM rear shocks for now. Is that a bad idea? I guess any words of device or direction would be appreciated!

You likely won't be able to fit your OE rear shocks with height increase of LC80 coils. There are a lot of brackets for repositioning things like the e-brake cable, trac bar, rear sway bar, diff drop etc. I'm not sure how much of this is mandatory, but if your going to actually go wheeling with this....I'd highly recommend it.

Yeah. The stock rear shocks will be too short and they'll get over-extended. Get rear shocks for the LC and they'll work fine.
