Tundra Shocks

Hey guys, I read through the sticky Lift FAQ's but still have a question as far as fitment, I have a 2000 4Runner 4x4 with 175K with stock suspension. My dad has an 01 Tundra 4x2 Access Cab that had Bilstein shocks installed at new so his stock shocks have maybe 5-10K on them, would these be a direct bolt on other that having to change the fitting on top. Or would I have to change the coils as well to get them to fit? Thanks in advance. Tom

You could just replace the top plates for 4runner top plates. Also what are the color markings on the coils? Are you looking for a lift? You'd need some top plate spacers if you're looking to get around 3".

I was just reading a thread today that used 4x2 access cab assemblies and I believe he felt the height was very similar to stock. Yes, you'd need to re-use your top hats.
