Turbo Diesel swapped 3rd gen on CL

Even though I don't relate to it, I figured some of you guys would like this!

Pretty sweet, thats a lot of $$$ for the mileage regardless of engine swap. Unless you keep it forever...

It's cool, but definitely not quick or very powerful. If I had to go diesel then I would get the 1KD engine out of the 01-02 Surfs. It's much more modern and still being used in new Hilux trucks sold overseas. They have far more potential to make power as well from what I have read.

Yea seriously, wicked pricey with a ton of miles. And who would swap to a lower powered engine? I mean it's cool, but at least get the same power output...
