Turn down exhaust

Well guys I went ahead yesterday and got my Magnaflow dumped on my 4runner and if anyone else is thinking about doing their exhaust this way I would highly not recommend it. My exhaust drones like crazy inside especially on the freeway at 65-70. All the truck I have had I have always dumped the exhaust right before the rear axle but this being the first suv I have ever had I thought it wouldn't make that big of a difference having it dumped and boy was I wrong. I have the 18in Magnaflow which was suppose to be a quiet muffler but it is not. Don't get my wrong I love the sound of my runner now. The main reason I wanted to dump it is because I don't like the way a tail pipe looks out the back and I didn't want it to get smashed up on trails. So now I am going to figure out a way to have the exhaust not showing but still coming out in the rear. Sorry for the rant I guess I am just getting old cause in high school I was all about the loud exhaust lol

has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
