Turn Signals not working

So I was changing out the lights to LED's in the back of my Gauge cluster, put everything back togather and now my turn signals don't work...... I pulled everything back off again took all wires out, put them back in and still nothing. Next guess was fuse. I replaced the fuse underneath the steering wheel and still nothing....... I'm not sure what I should check next. Both turn signals do not work either inside the vehicle or outside, I was thinking maybe the bulbs inside got bumped or something but they are not working at all. Any ideas?

If you swapped front and rear to LED, they show a lower resistance than stock, so they look like dead shorts, i.e., no worky. Use resistors inline to make them have the resistance of a standard bulb, and your turns will work again. Try E-bay, as the resistors will get hot, and the ones on ebay have built in aluminum heat dissipators that will not get overheated over time and fail.

I didn't change the bulbs out, I changed the LED lights in my dashboard gauge cluster, that's all. Seems like some kind of short somewhere but it's not the fuse.......

I'd check to make sure I didn't bump the flasher can (do these things still have flasher cans?) and loosened it from it's socket.

Below is the turn signal wire diagram from a 2002 (best I can do.) What year are you?--we need to know this stuff to help. Since you are dead on both left and right, there is a very short length of circuit to troubleshoot, none of which should have been affected by changing bulbs in the cluster.

Do your 4-way flashers work? This has a separate power source and path so if they don't, the ONLY possible fault is the Hazard switch itself or the connections to it or the flasher relay.

If they do, it's a little more involved.

First, I'd go to the flasher relay close to the steering column and verify 12V+ at Terminal 2 and ground at Terminal 3. Then check Terminal 2 for 12V+ with Hazard Switch ON. You can pull the relay while you check these at the relay socket. The relay itself should tell you what the pin-out is.

If you made me guess, I'd say you crossed something and fried a protection diode inside the relay, but let's troubleshoot it first.

My bet is that you either didnt plug in your hazard switch or mistakenly plugged it into the blank spot on the back of the center bezel

Actually the resistance is what slows the blinking down, it wouldn't make them NOT work at all. But we've already established if you read the original post, this is NOT his problem.

Same thing happened to me after I redid my dash to LED. Turns out I just forgot to plug the hazards switch in. Then only one (left) indicator would work. So I replaced it with another LED #74 bulb and it's good as new. However my fuel warning light is always on now. It probably has to dowith the resistance....

Hey y'all total newb here. Just purchased a new to me 97 Limited 2WD a few weeks back. Was out driving and lost my turn signals. Got home and tested the flashers and they were dead too. Read through this post and noticed my 10A fuse was blown, replaced it and still no joy. Purchased a new Novita EP35 flasher box. Still no fix. Checked out TheDurk's pdf and noticed the horn fuse was tied to hazards. I checked that and sure enough it was fried. Replaced that and figured I was set. Put in the new flasher box and turned on the hazards. One flash and dead. Checked and the horn fuse had popped again. Replaced it and tried the old flasher box just for giggles. Popped the horn fuse again.
Anybody have an idea for next step? I am perplexed.

You have a short to ground somewhere on that circuit causing the fuse to pop
