Yesterday I took some Time to restore the very neglected headlights and fog lights. There is a huge difference in the quality now.

Sweet man! Diggin those rims. How much did those set you back (if you don't mind me asking)? Also, what did you use to restore the headlights?

Thanks! I got in on the group buy SCS had for 750 I believe. I used 3M for the headlight restoration.

Gotta admit I never liked the 460 or 470 in stock trim. Yet seeing yours and some of the others I have to say I am a bit jealous! These things look awesome with the right setup, keep up the good work.

Thank you, I was also a bit hesitant with how it looks stock but glad it improves once you de-soccer mom them.

Update Time:
I found myself doing the body mount chop and finally correcting any and all possible rub with the tire setup I have uniquely chosen. The process can be tedious but having the assurance of now knowing that the truck can be on the trails and not rub under full stuff up front makes it completely worth it. I can now officially hit the trails with zero concern. I was also able to articulate the suspension a little and Stretch the Radflos on a trail on my friend's property. The new design Radflo has done made me very happy I decided to go with them again.

I made the trip up to North Georgia to run one of the more technical trails here in GA. One of the sections is called the Frame Twister and its named accordingly. It was worth all the hours doing the body chop. I snapped a end link bracket clear in half so I removed the sway bar before continuing...any links to good extended brackets? The truck is officially broken in now and a great performer. I couldn't be happier. :beer:

Thanks Nate, I am planning to attend one of the events out west towards the end of next summer. There are so many I will definitely need someone to tag long with if you're around at the time. If not then then when you get here we can definitely hit some trails then.

Getting back home after getting our Christmas tree. I didn't have the most fun getting this 9' tree down myself.

I felt cooped up with this random Seattle weather we've been stuck with for the longest in Georgia so I loaded the truck for a day trip and went exploring. I chose to run Bell Mountain and make it before the amazing view was covered by the low clouds. I missed it by 20 minutes according to the Jeep guys at the top. Seeing their face as I made it up solo with far less effort than they had to use made the trip worth it. The one guy who left his JK at the trail head got grief from everyone.

I had a nicely setup SC300 back in the day and my car friends would joke about it being a Supra in a Tuxedo since it was given additional refinement over the Toyota amenities. The GX470 being a Toyota Prado, it just made sense to keep the same concept. :thumb3:

Very nice build. This is the look I'm working to achieve. Do you have more details on the steps you took and parts used? Given how custom/specific gx470 mods are, I want to get it right. Is buy your kit out of a box if I could. :help:

I met up with some of the Atlanta 4runner Group members and hit a North GA trail yesterday for Fun Day Sunday. This is the hardest I have pushed the truck so far and it never let me down. It went exactly where I directed it and surprised even me with the capabilities of this setup.

Thank you, all the parts are listed and the process is the same as it would be on any other 120 truck other than having to remove the air bag equipment. Remember that any part that works on any 120 truck will work on the other.
