In my '03 4x4 limited (113,000 miles) I'm hearing two sounds from the suspension.
1. When under 30mph driving through a subdivision or like environment I get a "waddle waddle" type sound when going over small but successive bumps. I'd consider these type bumps lighter than the average railroad crossing. Bigger and smaller bumps give no noise other than the tire hitting the bump. Speed bumps don't make a sound but much smaller things like a man hole cover etc give the noise. The sound is driving me nuts because I know something is lose or worn out etc.
2. This might be related. When I make a sharp turn when turning the truck around slowly and the tire dips into a small hole or depression I get a very noticeable "crunch" type sound. I know that both my boots are split but I don't think that would be causing the sound. This happens on both sides.
Are the issues related by chance? If not, what is likely happening with my truck?
Thanks
