Updated my first post with items on hand for install and items ordered.
Just ordered a Shrockworks front bumper with full hoops and powdercoat under the group buy. In my heart I knew this was the route I wanted to go everytime I flirted with the idea of a hidden winch mount or SSS bumper. Really liked the look of my 97 build and guess the new one will follow a similar look other than color by the time I'm done.
Still looking at skids and rear bumper but will probably wait a few months to get front bumper and roof rack before tackling these items.

Was scheduled for tomorrow but installer has the flu. I rescheduled for next Thursday so will keep you guys posted.

I'm still deciding on skids but concerned about total weight. Bumper 70, Winch 68, Tires 54, Suspension 92, Gobi Rack 70 and now 100+ for sliders? Even with the stock stuff coming off that's still net gain over 300+ pounds . . . without any under armor. It adds up quick!
Really leaning toward the OPOR sliders from MetalTech . . . what's on your short list?

I already have them just haven't installed them. I ordered body mount sliders by Randy Ellis Design and got them through Sonoran Steel.

Caved and went ahead and ordered the Shrockworks skid set while the group buy was still active. I had been considering all the options and decided the bud builts were out based on price, and once you took into account free shipping and group buy discount, the Shrockworks and RCI were the same price. Anyway, not sure if I made the right decision but they look nice.
Based on weight, the bud built set is 200 lbs and the rci set is about 160 lbs. I can't find the weight of the Shrockworks listed anywhere though.

Was looking at these too.
IIRC They are pretty much the same as the other gens
Weights:
Engine - 42lbs
Transmission - 28lbs (with cross member)
Transfer Case - 29lbs
Gas Tank - 56lbs

That would be good. Would be a 45 lb weight savings over the budbuilt and on par with the rci. Thanks.

Not yet. They have the 255/80/17 Cooper st maxx tires mounted on them and I'm waiting to get time over the coming holiday weeks to install the lift. Hopefully somewhere between Christmas and New Years I can tackle it.

Probably should have gone with the perforated center or two tone to add some texture like the cloth had but anyway here are the fronts.
Rear will be installed tomorrow and then I'll get some better pictures to share. Not shown is the fact that I had them install some Rostra seat heaters while they were doing the covers. They left the wiring for me to do at my request so I can decide where I want to put the switches.

They look great man. Can you confirm is that the standard black color with basic red stitching? Is it a good match to the other upholstery (console, door panels)?

Yep, standard black with red stitching. I think it matches the door panels great but as you can see the center console looks a little off. Maybe it's just mine or maybe just the variety of materials but overall it is fine.
