Anyone go look at its? I see its still sitting out there on the lot. Makes me miss it to see it today but I'm really liking the Tundra too.


Will need to start a new build thread somewhere but figured i would share a few pics here before I do. Got in the big ole cattle rancher bumper. Sucker weighs 230lbs but the big reason it interested me was it was prebuilt, half the price of custom, has a built in 2" receiver and should be easy enough to sell later.

Wanted the receiver for a bike rack at the moment and didn't like the pavement dragging hidden front hitches that were available. Also, have a complete set of OME shocks and springs/leafs inbound tomorrow with a set of camburg UCA to follow next week. All coming fom Wheelers to replace the dealer installed spacer level lift.


Future plans to include sliders, rear bumper, bed cover, black wheels and larger tires but may not happen u till next year. Cheers and I'll link to a new build thread whenever I figure out where to start one.

It's only been there about 2 weeks so maybe they will get some interest once people see it, or maybe it's just the price they are asking is too high.

Still haven't started a tundra thread yet but figured you guys would still enjoy seeing some pics.

Got some OME 613 coil overs put on front and will be getting the OME Dakar leafs on the back next week. Got the Tough Country bumper bolted up. Also my Camburg arms are back ordered with Wheelers but hope to have them soon. Did go ahead and get some 35x12.50/R18 BF Goodrich KO2's put on Thursday and love them so far. And finally my custom tag I ordered for the 4Runner 3 months ago finally showed up registered to the tundra

Hope you enjoy the pics as they really help show why I gave up the 4Runner for the tundra.

I sat in a new one a little while back. I honestly can't get over how damn big those things are. I mean you know the first Toyota I ever rode in high school was an jacked up 81' with 33's and that seemed... lol big at the time.

I built my first rock buggy out of an 81 Toyota Pickup. My second rock buggy is out of a 1997 Tacoma with a 3.4. But with a 1987 frame, because the Tacoma frames were terrible.

No more plans for the f350. The mods I've completed or have on hand to complete are it for now.

They include these installed items:
> 18x9 method wheels
> Carli suspension backcountry 2.5" level lift - includes fox reservoir shocks, Carli front coil springs, deaver add-a-pack leafs, extended brake lines, 2 degree castor cams, and a adjustable track bar
> toyo RT 35x12.5x18 tires
> Firestone ride rite air bags
> spray in bed liner
> husky floor liners
> curt q16 5th wheel hitch with r16 slider. (Short bed f350)
> set of rigid dually flood lights under rear to aid in night activities. trailer hitch up, late campsite arrival, etc.
> in bed tool box to fit under 5th wheel

Items I have on hand to install still are:
> ARB dual pump air compressor
> Curt front hitch for bike rack
> Ford up fitter switch pod with harness - replaces coin holder and has built in fuse/relay box and factory wiring.



That's probably it as I can't think of anything else it needs. The only other change might be going to a narrower tire of the same height so I could put the factory wheels back on but I will wear these out first if I go that route.


I'm checking in here from time to time though as we are talking about a possible 4Runner or sequoia for my wife next year when her pathfinder lease is up. Won't get to mod it much other than floor liners or something but would keep us in the family anyway.

I lied above. Added one more mod to the F350.

Needed a way to get 16' lumber and materials home for a deck project so I added and modded this this rack by adding EMT bracing between front and rear. Painted with silver hammer tone paint to match.

She told me I couldn't touch it other than some floor mats but then last night she mentioned a lift one day down the road so who knows. Probably will wait till warranty runs out this time though.
