JBA is local to me but I've never heard of them. Which version of his are you guys running?

I've been running Light Racing for about 20K miles and never had an issue but I keep reading the negatives so upgrading has been in the back of my mind.

I've been through all the lower cost options except SPC. There is another version of the SPC arm that is a better design, but you'd have to order from Australia. I'd guess they're all made in China. The SPC arm is sold under about half a dozen different brands. They use the same ball joint. But a different arm.

I've broken a set of EBA upper control arms. I ran the Tuff Country set for about 2 weeks and they actually made caster worse than OEM arms! Finally I now have JBA arms. The JBA arms are well built and check all the right boxes except fitment with limited wheels. They rub on 275 60 20 tires at steering lock. So I had to modify them to clear by cutting away some of the material. That's my biggest drawback to JBA is that they need some cutting/grinding if you want to run 20" wheels. And there's no need to have clearance issues. They really should re-design them to avoid that. Othewise build quality is great. They use rubber bushings and ball joints which are both my preference over poly and non-greasable spherical bushings. And the price is reasonable.

If you have trail wheels I think you'll be just fine without any grinding/cutting on the JBA arms. I could have put a small wheel spacer on to fix the rub too - but grinding away some material only took a few minutes.

good luck

There is a regular and a heavy duty? Or something like that.

Heavy duty is if you’re jumping, etc.

Regular is enough for 90 percent of us. They are beefy as hell. That’s what I went with. Seems like they were a bit over $400 delivered. I thought they were gorgeously made. I was very happy with that deal.

I’ve spoken with the owner of JBA for quite a while on the phone. I’m a big fan. I’ll be picking up my set of UCAs from their shop. I’m hoping to get a look around the shop as well

I may stop there after the new year to see what’s what. I’ve driven by often but never thought much about it because I thought they were more about jeeps. If you are coming up 309, make a left at the wawa and they are on the right. The dealer where I bought my truck is near there too.
