Un-biased Suggestion

Im looking for a High value Lift shocks for the rear of my 4runner to go with a set of ome 890's.


Im looking but I don't see anything Un-biased out there to form an opinion on. Im okay with paying `$140 for the pair. But Im okay with paying less. I just don't want a worsened ride..

On my previous 4Runner I had the 890 coils with OME comfort shocks. They were stiff unloaded. On the current one I have the 906 coils with Rough Country 9000 shocks. I ride 90% of the time with no weight in the back. They dampen well and don't knock my teeth out over bumps. If I carried weight more or towed a lot then a stiffer shock may work better but these are good for me as is. Does that help?

"lift shocks" ? Shocks dont lift anything, if you looking for a shock with a longer than stock extended length i would use OME rear shocks. They wont be too long, like tokico LC rear shocks that let the coil springs fall out.

Im sure any cheap white body shock (rancho, pro comp ect) will be fine as well and you may save some cash

Clearly shocks don't provide lift. Working shocks that is....:happens:

Anyway, I figure Ill try and shoot for 1 step up from plain junk. white bodies might just work. And BTW, where should I buy a set, 4wheelparts won't have them as they say on the site so IDK!!

Looks like I will have them shipped in. BUT. From whom should I buy them?
