Unique Suspension Clunk w/Video... Looking for Solutions

Hey, did you eve figure out what was causing the noise? Having the same issue on the passenger side. Seems very common to have this issue with Icon, at least on this forum.

No resolution for the clunk.

I tout it up to the ICON coil-over on that side being crap (won't be buying any more ICON stuff) or the KDSS having a pressure irregularity. It wasn't the LCA's for me.

At this point I just consider it part of the vehicles quirkiness, as it has happened for 1.5yr without ill effect thus far.

If you don't have KDSS, make sure you installed the sway bar drop blocks...

If anyone else comes up with a solution please share!

So I took it to 4 Wheel Parts for the 2nd time and they replaced the passenger side coil over and the noise is gone, for now.

This was also going to be last chance with Icon. For now I will stick with them. Hope this helps.

Hood Latch?

Not sure if this will help but I had a front end clunk, that my friend and I both thought was coming from the suspension. (He is an experienced mechanic). After further examination it actually ended up being the hood latch. It just needed some grease. May not be your issue (since it started after you installed the lift) but hopefully it helps other people here. It was on a 2014 Trail.

Reviving this one. I also have a clunk in my 2014 T4R KDSS w/Icon suspension. It has steadily worsened over the past few weeks. I just ordered some new swaybar and KDSS bushings because mine have seen their better days. My shocks are due for a rebuild and I'll be getting heavier springs due to other mods. My left coil squeaks like crazy. I am hoping the tune up fixes it. If not, I'll be switching to a new set of coilovers.

I had the same issue drove nuts for a year and a half, it turned out to be a bad shock on the driver side clunking during compression.
