I searched and didn't find anything 3rd gen specific for this question. A friend of mine recently changed the front coils on his FJ and has a pair of OME 884s collecting dust in his garage.
According to this chart;

the only difference between this and the 883 spring is 10mm longer length. I have some Tundra billies ready to go on, and I don't plan on adding a heavy front bumper. Would the extra 10mm make that huge of a difference? I know I'm preloading the spring that extra amount at just ride height, but I'm more curious to hear if anyone has tried it.
