FYI on flanges:
Hi Matt,
Currently that is up for debate. The flange is 3/8 and also have never shown to be an issue with any of our headers to include the 14guauge mild steel headers. By changing the air injection tubing we can absorb this cost, but SS flanges are MUCH MORE in cost as we do not source our flanges from outside the US. American made 304 SS (also called Rath) is very expensive but gives us the right to continue to call our product “American made”. If we do so, the cost on these part would go way up, almost out of reach for some. Our goal is to have an option for customers like yourself that is much better than the known flawed OEM design. We also now have the vehicle listing needed to get the THY-563-SS-C, and others like it (561,562,564 short tubes) to get them approved for CARB legality. This test through CA is $7K at our cost along with install time for the test vehicle. I am fighting to not pass this investment cost in a small amount to the consumers like yourself because of the cost to get them CARB (50 state) legal. Our focus is to allow states with residents in CA, NY, PA, MA, CT, NJ and a growing list of others the ability to take advantage of a much better part whom states smog laws do not allow them to take advantage. It may be something we can do as a limited time thing in the future, but I do not want to commit to dates as of now. Dealing with the state officials whom are not auto enthusiasts is a teeth grinding ordeal and will be taking much of my focus for some time.
I know that this may not be the answer you were hoping for but I feel like transparency is best so that honest conversations and decisions can be made going forward.

My flanges, considering my truck is patient zero, are in decent shape. They are rusting, but due to thickness don’t look like the tubes. See attached. And yes, other things are rusting under my truck but keep in mine that’s the shape their in after 10 additional winters than the headers.
