Updating to a new head unit

I was wondering has anyone like me with an 03 - 05 upgraded their head unit to an 06+, where there is an aux input and maybe better sound quality. I don't have the jbl system and I was looking to upgrade because I honestly don't want to go without a stock head unit because of the cheap look.

Look into the pioneer Scion headunits if you're trying to stay stock
