Upgrade in Audio System.

All the amps I've listed are quality stuff and have a great track record. They are purest brands that have been used in the cars that have won competitions.

Memphis are kinda, meh now a days. Still good, but others are as good or better, for less money.

Personally, out all the ones that I have listed. I would have chose either the Soundqubed, or the Sundown. They are great amps for the money, that are tried-and-true by many.

Also get someting that has 1k rms watts and up. For future upgrades and also, headroom is a good thing.


Your gonna need and amp for the aftermarket speakers. The headunit is only pushing out, max, 15w x 4 rms. For stock speakers, powering off the HU is fine. Also for you HU, if your gonna get it off ebay, remember to get the bracket and wiring harness. I picked up both from ebay for $10 together.

Honestly I would run the MOJO. At one time that was the baddest sub to run until the W7 came out and the more competition oriented companies became popular.
If I was doing it. I would run a 400 watt rms mono amp and a 200 watt amp for the speakers. If you really use that sub, you will need powered door speakers to hear your highs.

Well, I guess I'll with get the Sundown, since they're real good.
Umm, the guy tested the OHM on the sub and it only gad 1.2 rating, so I'm assuming its an only 1 OHM?

Yeah, I'm definitely getting that Pioneer HU.
Are they good with iPhones? I got a 6 Plus like 2 months and I love it.

Gonna keep the Mojo & what upgrade in speaker should I get?
Was gonna try to get this all done by next Friday, but I might as well do it all at once I guess. (speakers wise)

I'm gonna keep the Mojo and just go with it.
 
I don't have a wide experience with door speakers. I have personally used Alpine Type S speakers, and they always performed exceptionally well. Loud and crisp. But its all about, you get what you pay for.
I highly suggest finding out the sizes and such you need. Use Crutchfield, they have a tool. And just do some price shopping. Find what speaker fits your price range and power requirements/restrictions. You dont need a stupid amount of power to run those speakers to keep up with the MOJO, probably 200w would be sufficient. Also if you go into a shop with a list of what you want, they often will match the price to get your business.
 
I have bought from things from Crutchfield before, I do like what fits and doesn't fit. Stock speakers isn't too bad, should I like get a whole new component system? Or replace the speakers?

In my truck I had Polk Audio speakers, Pioneer HU, Memphis amp & kicker subs. All was different brand wise. Did great though. I really do think that Mojo is gonna sound pretty wicked. That Pioneer HU I'm gonna order is a lot cheaper than what Crutchfield had it priced. Gonna get it from Amazon or Sonic Electronix for $80-100 cheaper.
 
With all the tuning abilities of the HU to run a active setup, you don't need the passive crossovers from a component set. But you will lose all controls of the rear speakers except for volume. Since you will be using all four channels of the amp for the front. If your not a tweaker and want to use your rears then get the components. You will still get the ability to time align and some speaker level, but not to the full abilities of running active. I run active and love it.

The set the I linked you to is a great set for the money. You can run both passive and active to see what you like.
 
Thanks man. Can you send me a link of what wiring harness and bracket to get? I'm gonna order those later today.

Plus, I got an Appointment to get my windows tinted darker. Since I'm putting my subs and stuff in the back. I don't want people to see my setup.

So, should I go 20% on the back that's already factory tinted? Including all rear windows & back doors. I might do 35% up front, bc VA is terrible on windows tint. Wasn't for that, I'd do 5% all around.
 
check sonic or crutchfield, they should show which harness and bracket you need.

Why do you need the back to be darker? You don't have your cover anymore?

Btw, I'm suppose to be receiving my Pioneer AVH-2700BS this evening. Now, I gotta order an amp & I'll be in business.
