How? I just went on the site to order them and they said they are out of stock. I mainly want the dome lights and map lights. I don't care for the time being about the door lights.

I read somewhere that people had problems with the LED bulbs "burning out". Not that I really understand that, since I thought LEDs were supposed to last for like 1000000000000000 hours.

Anyone that has done this mod have the bulbs burn out prematurely?

Man I was all ready to order some LEDs for my doors, dome and map lights tonight. Unfortunately they are sold out with those links you gave us. If anyone else knows of an online shop to get these LEDs ordered let me know.

V-LEDS.COM has the 194's in stock,hurry and order.They come in 2 paks so remember this for your total(6).I ordered 6 paks by mistake last night.Just minutes after i ordered,i emailed them notifying them of my mistake.They pulled a fast one and mailed me the 6 paks telling me that they charge a 15% restocking fee for returns.I feel as if they knew because they didn't ship until at least 10-12 hours after i notified them.Oh well no biggy,just remember 2 paks and you'll be ok.

Looks are nice... but do they hugely increase interior lighting? Because that is what I need...

I put 9 LED's in my interior and I actually can't tell if they increase the brightness. It gives a different effect and I really like it! The door lights, map lights, and running board lights definitely increase the brightness.

If you want to increase the brightness of your dome lights, order the 16 LED lights if you have the rear seat audio. I put two of those in the GX470 and WOOOOOOOW!!

I had ordered those HighPower Reds and put them in my map lights to give the red light a try for driving at night. I just put them in last night though so I haven't gotten a hell of a lot of time trying them out yet.

They are difinitely easier to look at while driving at night, but I was hoping for something that was a little brighter for actually lighting up the area if I was looking for something and they don't really do that very well. I put the blue ones in the door though and they really light the place up. I like those!

To do the map lights I had trouble pulling down the entire housing so I used a flathead to pop off the lens (clicker side) then removed the reflective cone 1/2 way to get the stock bulbs out.

never thought about putting a different color in the map lights for night eye strain but now i am going to go down to the garage and see just how much room i have in there for lights.

I'd go with red or green or blue. You want a single frequency that matches a cone. That disturbs the night vision the least.

Yeah, i was thinking back to when i was stationed on a ship. at night time the ship went red inside and we were still able to see pretty good. not a bad idea to say the least huh.

Every time I try to order them, one of the bulbs is out of stock. It's been going on like this for a month or so. I'm just trying to get it all at once to save on shipping.

just got my order in today, took about two days to get and they look great. Put a red and white in the maps. Lights in all the doors. Blue dome light and a 16 white for the cargo area for great lighting while digging for s**t.

How hard was it to pull the assembly out? I can not even get my finger into there do I have to pry deeper and then yank?
