Need some help here as I have a pretty frustrating issue. I was recently in a fender bender and damaged the front end of my 4Runner Trail. I took it into the repair shop and told them to replace the upper grill with the TRD Pro grill. That was my first mistake as the girl had no idea what I was talking about even after I sent her many threads from this forum related to the TRD Pro grill. So 2 weeks pass and she finally understands what to do and the part numbers to order. We are now in week 3 and my 4Runner was supposed to be ready today but she stated that the upper grill was reacting weird to the paint and primer???
Does the upper grill get primed/painted? I thought it was just black plastic that snapped/screwed in? In closing my frustrating conversation with her, she stated she order a new upper grill pre-painted from Toyota????
