Upper Limit on Spare Tire Size

Does anybody know how big of a tire you can store underneath the back in the standard factory placement on 3rd Gens? Will a 265/75/16 fit? How bout a 285/75/16?

There are a TON of threads on this. Seems like it depends on what tow package you have. 265 should 285 more than likely will not unless you air it all the way down. But overall answer... it depends. Aftermarket bumpers change it too. Just trying to be nice as I know people are going to rip this apart since it's been hammered so many times. Try searching. The topic exists

Depends on the hitch. My factory one wouldn't fit a 265/75/16. My new one will fit a 255/75/17 though.
