So I was trying to wire backup lights by adding them to the circuit for my reverse lights. I touched the wrong wires together, and something went wrong. The pitch of the engine changed, the reverse lights went off, and the sound the car makes when you leave the key in started playing. I have no idea what is wrong, but it has something to do with electricity. PLEASE HELP!

And always remove the negative terminal from the battery when doing electrical work on the truck in the future...

Can't say how important a good test light would have probably prevented this. One that shows both positive and negative voltage....
