using factory wheels + 1.25 offset ... looking at new wheels...

I'm sorry I know this has been mentioned before.. but I can't for the life of me find it and I'm tried searching. I'm sure I'm looking for the wrong thing.

But question is, I have factory sport wheels which I know have a offset of 30.

I'm currently running 275/70/17 which originally were rubbing on the upper control arms, I'm since added 1.25 spacers.

If I wanted to keep a 7.5 inch wheel, but offset/backspacing should I been looking at?

30mm = ~1.18 inches minus the 1.25 spacer would be around -1.77mm, so you're looking at pretty close to 0 offset to balance out losing the spacer. This is my understanding of it, someone correct me if I am wrong.
 
Just looking at all the thousands of options out there. I would say you want a -6/-10/-12 offset. For instance I had been looking at some

SCS wheels are:
-10 in the 17x8.5 wheel. sits flush with fender, exactly like the 1.25 spacer. Reason why many go that route.

mk6 at discount offer:
0 in the 17x8, which is not quiet the 1.25 spacer set-up
-10 in the 17x8, which is exactly same as 1.25 spacer
-12 in the 17x9, which is like running a 1.5" spacer
 
FN just came out with a new set for our truck. I was waiting for the FX PROs to come back in.....now I'm switching.....

17 x 8.5 -6mm offset

Delivered yesterday but won't be able to mount them until next week. They're absolutely perfect !!

This is for a different 4Runner Sport that I have - those stock wheels with Michelin Long Trails are being put up for sale next week. The '03 in my signature was (stupidly) sold a few years ago ....

FN Verge wheels -- 17 x 8.5. I was the first one to get them from Dustin - he's an absolute great guy to talk to.
Tires are Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/70/17 C
Lift is Toytec Boss
