Using Siri while Bluetooth is engaged - Help

This question may be better posted on an Apple message board, but I thought I'd try here first.

My iPhone 4S works great thru my toyota's 2010's speakers/mic/nav system, but when I want to text someone using Siri, it automatically goes through the Bluetooth system and Siri never gets what I'm saying correct.

I've been having to go through the phones General Settings to turn off the bluetooth so that I can use Siri. That then disconnects my phone and from the bluetooth system and I ahve to re-pair it once I'm done with Siri. It's kind of a pain and I'm wondering if there is a better way.

Has anyone found a work-around or an easy way for to use Siri directly through the phone without having to turn the bluetooth completely off?

I also tried searching through Google and haven't been able to come up with an answer.

TIA for any assistance you can give.

Hmmm. I have had very good luck with Siri over my Bluetooth. I have iOS 6 and will check to see if there is a relevant setting that addresses your problem.
