V6 vs v8 chassis question

Hoping yall can help me put this to rest...

Long story short, had sliders made from a reputable manufacturer for a 4th gen 4runner. At the time no motor was specified but I have a v8.

I get the sliders and the mounting holes wouldn't align. Get on the phone with manufacturer and they say oops you're our first v8 customer, any 4tj gen ordering from us has been v6. They tell me that v6 is shorter than v8..

I'm now trying to sell these sliders and people have been telling me that there is no difference in frame length between v6 or v8..

Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks in advance and yes I've searched, just spent the last 3 hours looking for an answer.

On a trans skid, the v8 is longer due to the cross member location. Might be part of the reason the hole dont line up.

i think frames are the same, its the xreas suspension that changes for sliders.
i think they are talking about the models with the x reas since there another mouting point?
