4 year update on swap. All is well.



Looking at getting some tires, LBJ, TR, TB, WP and new brakes.

Reaaallly interested in the fuel tank mod. Range on 3rd gen sucks, my tire carrier will be here next month, and I want to do the same thing with the empty space.

The 4.7 was introduced in 1998. Unless you are taking about a late 97 build date UZJ100 donor vehicle. Even then, that's still considered a 1998.

I am going to do an Auxiliary Camry fuel tank using a factory style front rear switch.

I am going to put this 18 gallon tank where the spare tire use to live.



So I should have 35 gallons of fuel capacity...:drummer:

Oh it will happen. But once I get the Honeydew list done. I am currently expanding the house for a home theater room, so this where my weekends are booked for a while.

Definitely some steam or smoke coming from somewhere. Can't tell from the photo.

I'm seeing what looks like oil specks on the top of the supercharger which is what led me to headgasket.

Yup. Just saw the hose hanging off.

Yep, the heater control valve gave way after 16 years of holding coolant. The sucky thing is that it filled the V in V8 and it is taking awhile to clear up the antifreeze smell.

Valve cost me $42 and will have to refill with Toyota Red when I do my TB and WP.

No. Ive just been lurking on this website for awhile. No body guessed what broke on your truck and i just had that recently take a dump on my truck. Figured id win a prize or something. lol
