I am the proud owner of an 05 V8 Limited and I am curious on what others on this board are getting for fuel mileage with their V8. Please only V8 4R's only. If someone wants to start a thread just like this for the V6 I will not be offended.

If you can also list:

1.. What year is your 4R?
2.. Where you live? (Looking for Climate Mostly)
3.. What type of fuel? (Octane)
4.. How many miles on your rig?
5.. Type of Driver (Mild/Average/Agressive)
6.. Type of Driving (City/HWY/Mix)
7.. Your average MPG (Computer of Calculated)

I know this is asking alot but I am really curious. I you could also vote in the poll as well so we all can see quicky where we are at with fuel mileage.

I will start with me:

1.. 05 V8 Limited
2.. Canada (Ottawa, Ontario)
3.. 91
4.. 2281 Miles
5.. Average to Agressive
6.. MIX
7.. 15.5 MPG Computer

I know this is a long post but I would really like to know. If I have time I will give you all a nice report with the details.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

7.. 15.5 MPG Computer

Did they finally fix the computer to read mpg accurately for the 05?!

1) 03 V8 LTD
2) Morgan Hill, CA (north Cal)
3) 91
4) 32k miles
5) Average to agressive
6) Mix 70 highway/ 30 city
7) 17-18 calc, 18-20 comp

FYI, I have a Daystar lift and 265/70/17 (upsized) Dueler AT Revos. Used to get 20-21 easily before the mods, calculated and yes I corrected my ODO for the bigger tires using my GPS. ANother FYI my ODO used to underread by 2% before the tires. I wish more people would check how accurate the ODO is. I have a feeling the V6 overreads and the V8 underreads, due to the different final drives. May have changed now in 05 with both having 5 speed autos.

If anyone is upset with the gas mileage they should have NOT bought a 4wd SUV. I get the same mileage with my extended cab 3.4 V6 PreRunner.
