That surprises me a lot as I always thought the 4.7 was a pretty advanced motor that should get decent mpg, at least better than a 5.7 w/ about 100 extra HP. Does the new 5.7 have cylinder deactivation, that might explain the slightly better highway mpg and slightly worse city. But in real life don't V8 Runner owners find they do a little better, I imagine the Sequioa will struggle to acheive the posted numbers.
