V8 & V6 Same Brakes and Rotors?

2004 Toyota 4Runner 4.7L
So my situation is I ordered brakes and rotors from a local parts shop.

Front Brake Pads, Front Rotors (319mm) and Rear Rotors.
Picked them up, paid for them and silly me didn't check the receipt until I got home a few hours later. The lady that helped me had put Toyota 4runner V6 as the make instead of the V8 I have.

Now my question is, I was suppose to give the parts to the mechanic tomorrow to get them done for me, his day off. The store doesn't open until Monday to confirm if the parts would also fit on my V8.

Any experience from you guys, I'd assume the parts should work for both models, just the engine differs. But a confirmation from you guys would be a lot more reassuring, don't want the guy to take everything out and waste his day off for nothing.

The markings on your brake calipers help to positively identify which size rotors you need.

You really need to confirm the caliper size stamped on the caliper itself, and not necessarily the engine or the wheel size.

Yeah I checked and got the right size front rotors when I ordered. But I'm wondering, if she ordered the parts based on the V6 model, would they still fit on my V8. That's where she messed up. I'm hoping the parts are interchangeable, the front rotors of course need to be the right size as there are 2 sizes. But the brakes and rear rotors are 1 size only so do they fit both versions of the 4runner.

The engine has no bearing on which size brakes are on the front and or rear, all rear brakes are the same on all models and engines.

The only way to determine which size is on the front is to check the markings on the caliper or measure the rotor.

So it appears you are good to go with the parts you bought.
