Considering it took over 20 years for your stock vaccum lines to crack, I'd say there is nothing better than OEM replacement.

Just go and buy 10 feet of good ol rubber vacuum line and change them out.
Repeat again in 20 years.

Still not sure that will be enough for the 3.0. While I do defend the 3.0 on a regular basis, I'm sure it was designed by left handed midget contortionists with a passion for vaccum hoses.

I planned on this route until I roughly measured out how much I would need...well **** that. I figure rubber hose got it to 265,XXX so I just stuck with it. Seriously though I think I bought around 20 feet IIRC and ended up with a little left over. Just remember, one at a time (that goes for the beer and hoses). :cheers:

try advanced auto parts... i went thru the same thing, except most of my vac lines were still in really good condition. they should have boxes of 3-5 ft of vac lines of different sizes. good luck. just a note, take a pic of ur vac lines as they sit before u start any work because its a PITA trying to figure out where they go... no good pics of factory vac lines or where they go...
