I'm new to this mod aspect. Where does one get that beautiful front grille and bumper? Are their instructions on how to do the swap as well?
 
I'm not one to give props to people on their builds as I tend to be a douche but I must say I'm really liking your build

Have Gobi on order myself plus 40" curved light bar.

I got it through a local Toyota dealership with part numbers supplied to me through these forums. Actually on the page right before this somebody posted the exact part numbers for the 2 parts that you need to order (the garnish with the Toyota symbol and then the upper grille replacement). There are instructions as well if you search the TRD PRO GRILLE THREAD. It's super easy to install.

I realized I never posted detailed pictures of how i got my light bar mounted to my GOBI! So here are the pictures. The light bar came with black plastic brackets, which attach directly to the light bar. However, to mount that plastic bracket to the roof rack, I had to come up with a way to do that. So I searched and found metal brackets in the hardware section at HOME DEPOT that I had drilled holes that fit the new bolts to screw onto the GOBI and then to the brackets for the light bar.

Here is the link for a similar bracket to mine from Home Depot I used - Everbilt 1-1/2 in. Galvanized Corner Brace (4-Pack)-15319 - The Home Depot












Am I just being too OCD, or is the passenger side of the light bar just slightly higher than the driver side? You tell me...






Also getting the interior of my car cleaned up real good today... FINALLY!

Just what ive been looking for. thanks for the detailed pics I may have to go this route and yes it seems like the passenger side is higher but it could be the picture angle?

Okay so it's not just me haha.

No biggie, I will just go and dremel the passenger side bracket I made to lower the light bar to be even with the other side as well.

And I am glad I could help!

Looks a little off but I wouldnt have noticed if you didnt point it out.
 
Nice 4runner dude. I've passed by your rig several time driving on Beach Blvd.
It always caught my eye.

Once the charm of the new ride disappear, I would want to do more to my Runner. Your ride and Wraith's ride were inspiring.

Not sure if it was asked already, but just wondering, with all the upgrading you did to your T4R Trail, why didn't you just buy a TRD Pro to begin with? Just curious because I am buying a TRD Pro soon.
