[Veet Skeet]

She arrived at the dealership in Denver, CO on August 16, 2017, and I picked her up on August 19, 2017. Drove her over 1,000 miles back home to Orange County, CA.

It feels great to be back in the T4R family! I missed my 2014 Trail so much that I had to get back into another one, this time it's a new 2017 TRD Pro!

Thank you! Full length roof rack (don't know if I want Gobi or something else yet, other Gobi had rust issues), ladder, 3 inch King Suspension Lift, 33 inch tires, new wheels, tint, HID and LED swaps, all weather mats, maybe sliders (don't know what brand yet)

Just wondering for my own knowledge, if you are going to drop and put in king susp, all new wheels and tires..why did you go with the Pro?

Lots of reasons:
Holds its value better than other trims
The limited edition aspect of it, I don't see many other pros in any color around me (probably because of the crazy markups in SoCal)
Comes with everything blacked out (valences) and that grille already
Cool TRD Pro badges I get to rock (I know, cheesy)
I don't have to worry about a crappy stinkbug stance from the get go, so I am less pressed to want to mod it to make it look appealing right away because it already has a nice leveled stance with good looking rims and tires for now, and the ride is way smoother than the stock suspension on trail editions (almost to a point where I am reluctant to go Kings anytime soon at least)
It has a fun story behind it because I had to put in work to find one, and bring it all the way back on a road trip

Couple other reasons I could think of, just not right now off the top of my head.

Everyone can say that you can get a Trail for way less and then mod it to be better than a Pro. I did that before. But something about having a Pro and knowing that it is limited production is cool. Also, like I said earlier having it be setup nicely out of the gate is nice too because it slows me down on my build, and I can take my time knowing that I will eventually get it to where I want it, but I can do it slowly and being more deliberate with my decisions

I know a lot of people get ripped a new one on forums for getting a Pro only to mod it out, but it's my money after all and I can do what I please. I am very happy with the ride so far, and excited to see what is next to come!

Don't worry you weren't stepping on my toes at all. No harm no foul. But yeah I definitely feel more at ease having it built well from factory, not to say that non TRD Pros aren't built well because they are, they're Toyotas for crying out loud.

My money has been spent putting a down payment and paying this thing every month, so i gotta be more money wise and patient when it comes to building this guy up lol.
