I'm thinking to do a similar size tire 285 70 17 or 33x11.5
that duratrac is a D or E rated , does it feel heavy rolling down the road with that LT rated rubber ?

I will assume you had to trim the plastic bumper for clearance how about the front MudFlaps ? and what is the wheel OffSet ?

It's D rated, and it rides and feels great.

I have kept on the front mud flaps, and haven't cut any of the plastic fender liner yet, but it slightly rubs on the liner. The offset on these wheels is 0.

Great looking rig, one of the nicest I've seen!

Was just wondering something, a little while back you mentioned you didn't want to run Ray 10s with 285 Duratracs because it might need a body mount chop. I'm a little concerned because I was thinking of running exactly that setup (I actually got a set of matte black Ray 10s in the latest shipment just last night). Searched around but couldn't find any references of anybody needing that drastic a mod as long as they had a lift and aftermarket UCAs. Where did you hear of those problems?

And seeing now you're looking for a new set in bronze - what changed?

Lots of people that I talked that have a 3 inch lift with 33's and the stealths had to do a cab mount chop. Rarely did I find somebody that didnt have to chop it, because the offset is aggressive and the oversized tires usually mean that it's going to hit that. Some people have messed around with their alignment to get it to not rub, but it takes a really skilled alignment tech and the right amount of lift to barely get by. Even then, if you were to take it off roading it would definitely rub and hit the mount if there was any flexing.

As far as the stealths go, I really like the wheel. I want the brushed copper though because nobody has that wheel. I feel like everyone around me has the same few wheels on their 4runners, and there's a lot of white runners around me so that makes it even harder to make mine a little more unique. So with stealths, not many people have them, and if I had the coppers then nobody would have the same setup in at least 100 mile radius around me lol.

And yeah, those bronze Ray 10s are beautiful and very unique.

I guess just the slightly different backspacing on the SCS (4.3) vs your Methods (4.75) is enough to make all the difference between needing a BMC or not with the 285 Duratracs? You never had any issues other than fenders rubbing with the Methods?

No other issues other than that stupid rubbing on the inner fender well haha.

Kings are set at 10 full turns I believe? I have to double check. But it's at about 3 inches of lift in the front. I have some rubbing on the mud flap area, so I have to remove the flaps and see if I clear the body mount.
