Hey all,

I just noticed an odd sound coming out of my front left wheels suspension when I go over bumps/turn. I jacked up the truck but didn't notice anything visibly broken or damaged. Before I take it into Precision Performance, is there anyone in the SW that may be willing to meet up with me to take a quick look in case this is something simple that I can repair myself?

It sounds like metal on metal but only when going over bumps or any uneven terrain. The drive does not seem to have suffered in any way that I can tell but I figure it can't be good either way.

Did you find what is causing the issue yet? Only thing i can think of maybe your swaybar link is loose or a worn shock bushing.

Nope not yet. Just posted that up a few hours ago. I have never done much in suspension work so I don't know what exactly to look for (other than broken stuff or obvious stuff).

Good morning fellas. Im a life long Las Vegas boy looking for some Yota guys to go wheelin with. I have a 4th gen with Toytec 620lb front springs with the venerable Bilstein 5100's, and the OME 695 2" coil and Bilsteins in the rear, for now. I love wheelin whether its fast powerline roads or 4low aired down terrain. Ive been wheelin all my life. I know most of the surrounding areas pretty well. I dont know their names, I just know where Im at most of the time. I love to play hard and fast, I also like to work hard on my rigs keeping them tight and safe. I enjoy tinkering in my garage prepping stuff and sharing any and all chassis knowledge from others or what I have learned over the years in motorsports. Im a family guy who likes to have fun and play in the desert.
If you guys have a club, or meet and greets, let me know. Im looking forward to hanging out with like minded guys who like to hang out and get dirty!

Putting a feeler out. when I ordered my Baja Rack the company sent me the wrong rack and sent me the full length utility rack. Needless to say it was damaged in shipping. The good news anyone who has remotely any kind of fabricating skills can fix this thing easy there are two bent bars towards the front of the rack that could easily be fixed and bent back or re welded on. I am waiting till I get the green light from the company that I'm free to dispose of this rack, since they will be getting there claim money from the shipper.

Willing to let this $900 rack go for $300 comes with all the mounting hardware and bolts. I would hit Baja Rack up for a new fairing but outside of this Anyone who takes this to a fab shop can get this bad boy fixed and ready for use easily. You could also cut the portion from the sunroof forward and use this as a flat utility rack with no fairing, it's be a low profile flat rack.

Just wondering if you still have the rack. I may be willing to take it off your hands.

Hey Guys

Just picked up a used toy yesterday and looking to see what it can do.
I used to have a Rubicon on 35's so need to re-learn how to drive a tank of an SUV.
Been a long time since I ran any trails around LV so don't remember too many of them.
My days off are Mon and Fri, but might be able to call in dead or something on a Sat or Sun.
Will keep an eye on this thread for any upcoming trail runs.

Was not me. Toy was driven from dealer to home yesterday and hasn't left the garage since. No lift yet either unfortunately.

^This^... Boathouse has one very short uphill portion and is relatively short. Burro Wash has two more challenging sections, some graded gravel at the very beginning section and probably takes twice as long than Boathouse. I'm up for either.

Looks like I am out. Just found out that the bushing on my lower control arm is shot and I need to replace it. Until I do I won't be doing much driving and definitely no offroading. Don't have the cash for now to replace it either so it'll be a while.
