It looks like there is another run North of Pahrump on Sunday that was just posted.

Personally I have to work Sunday. Didn't even know Monday was a holiday. :dizzy:

But if you guys do move it to Sunday and it's an early and shorter trip, I could probably still go. Have to be at work by 1:30. Possibly later if no one is on vacation that day.

Sounds good, I am waiting on Toyota of Dallas to let me know they got there money from Fed Ex for the claim then once that happens I will be able to sell it. I'm giving them like 2 more weeks if nothing by then I will tell them someone broke into my garage and stole it haha, they've had like 3 weeks to get back to me and haven't

No rush. It usually takes at least 30 days to deal with a shipper for damage. Just let me know.

So what is the choice of communication on this trip? I will have to scrounge around and see if I can find my CB and GMRS radios.

I've got my Ham and FRS, but from the previous videos 808 has posted, looks like line o' sight and horn honks ;)

Well, your ham will do CB. I have two CBs, but would have to wire one in. May do that if I have time, then will have an extra handheld.
Also have 2 GMRS/FRS radios. Guess it will depend on if others have anything.

Edit: Scratch that, I have one CB. Pulled out the Cobra 75WXST, but the mic cable is about toast. Can see most of the wires in there.
Looks like it is time for CB shopping, or maybe actually get my ham license. Someday.
Still have my handheld and will bring the GMRS as well.

Although I won't be joining I have a bunch of GMRS radios if you guys wanted to use them.

I might be down for the Sunday run. I know you aren't super familiar with the trail, but do you think it's ok for stock suspension?
 
Monday's a no go for me. Have fun you guys. Hope one of you can take a video of the trail run and post it here or on the Facebook page.

I would try!, if it gets too bad you can always turn around, there will be other rigs there too. Btw, we got gmrs radios. I'm estimating 3-4hrs??

So, I just move here from Portland and I belonged to a Harley group and in addition to scheduling rides, we also set up dates for installing various mods at somebody's house who has the tools. Beer and pizza are brought of course but would love to see that down here as well. I never have all the tools but am always wanting to learn. Maybe we can get that going here too.

I used to do something similar in Philadelphia where I originally came from. A friend of mine here in Vegas had an H1 and the local group for them did local workshops and such for mods and installs to teach people and save money on taking it in to a shop. Would be great to start it up for us as well!
