Nah- I had a time constraint and had to turn around at the campground/bathroom a little more than halfway (I think). Quite a few FJs out there and 3 or 4 runners. One of the 4Runners was a really nice white one that said something like overland on the side.
Thanks. I'm on the vegas facebook FJ group but I haven't been on any runs with the group yet.

Looks like I'll be joining you guys soon. I moved back to the Bay Area after living 9 years in Vegas. The Bay Area has become overpriced and overpopulated. After numerous attempts at trying to buy a home and getting outbid by cash buyers (who will throw down 900k to 1.1 million) my wife and I have decided to move back to Vegas by the end of the year. I look forward to seeing some of you on the trails or possibly BLM to go target shooting.

I'm located in Union City. The average price of homes are about 600-800k for a 1500 sq/ft. My parents neighbors bought their house last year for a asking price of 800k. They paid 900k cash! I make enough to rent a home in the Bay Area but it gets to a point where I feel like I'm just wasting my money especially when I can own 2 homes in Vegas for the price of 1 in the Bay area.
I work in the Peninsula where Facebook, Google, Stanford, etc. are located. Some of their employees who make over 180k say they can't afford to buy a house in the Bay Area. "6 figure income" and "can't afford a house" should never be in the same sentence unless you are in a pile of debt.

I saw a magnetic gray 5th gen with Gobi and rear swing out bumper in the NW Vegas Target/Albertsons parking lot last night. Pretty clean rig. No markings on the rear bumper. License plate was custom, G-something(?). I'd like to know more about the rear bumper if you're on here!
