Vehicle off still 1.6amp drain

4R is back home

Picked up the 4r from the dealer yesterday. Basically after disconnecting the HU, Amp and multi-function display (MFD) and leaving it overnight there was no drain the next am. They hooked everything back up and still no drain. So now its back to normal but no definitive "Fix". I have disconnected the amp as with the car off 3 leads in the main connector are giving 12vdc. I will pull the radio this week as it's useless w/o the amp.

Good excuse for a new HU, Amps and sub.

Can you just take LEDs out?

I have the same problem. I am just taking the LEDs out. Will let you know if it works.

does any of the MFD stuff use a solid state relay?

Since gutting the JBL (amp and HU) the problem has not returned.

The MFD lights could not drawn that much.

Taking MFD LEDs out didn't work

I took the LEDs out, but there is still a battery drain. Other suggestions?

I've been wondering if the problem might be related to a relay that turns the amp on/off.
