Vent Visors - In Channel Or 3m?

I hear more about the in-channel flying off and rattling more than I hear about issues with the stick-on variety.

I admit the in-channel look cleaner by far (I have AVS stick-on) but I've had no trouble with mine staying on after three years and plenty of rough weather. They shouldn't come unstuck if they were applied right the first time.

My mom has Weather tech in-channel ones on her '99 and the rears are fine but both fronts rattle at highway speeds and the driver's side seems to be getting looser.

I also use the in-channel weathertech visors and they are great and have been on the truck for 3yrs now. I did have a problem with the front visor a couple of weeks back kept coming loose

Purchased the macneil weatherflectors and so far, I'm pretty happy with them. They fit snug and installation was a piece of cake.

I have used the Macneil Weatherflectors in my vehicles for over 8 years and never had a problem with them till I moved to Wyoming. Were I live most of the roads in town are dirt and my cars stay fairly dirty most of the time, mostly from muddy roads. I now have found in my Ford Ranger, Jeep and Scion that the dirt gets stuck to the plastic inside the window channels and it has put scratches in the glass at the top 3/8" of the window. This is on all windows of all vehicles. Now this is a problem I have only had since moving to Wyoming, so I will not say anything bad about the in most cases. But I would use extreme caution if you are going to use these in a very dusty environment.

I will more then likely go for the stick on type this time for my 4Runner
