Vent window swap

I have a 1988 sr 5 4runner with power windows, I recently acquired a 1988 dlx 4runner wreck. The dlx has the factory vent (fly) windows in the doors that I want, the sr5 dosen't. Can I swap out the (dlx) glass/vent window combination and expect it to all bolt up to the power window set up? Anyone else done this before?

Yes, it's all interchangeable. The basic door shell is the same.

Are you going to put the vent glass in the door and try to keep the power windows?

Yes, in the end I want to have both p-windows and vent windows. Do you see any issues before I attempt?

Uh - maybe. Your stock power window regulator assembly might not line up with the mounts on the vent window glass. I would check on that before you get too far into this project.

There were such things as power window setups in a door with wing windows, I know because I parted a set out. I'd use that regulator and everything should be groovy. Otherwise, you might have to do a little customizing. Or maybe it'll all fit just fine, I dunno.
