Vented 5th gen hood - Extreme

I will be installing and test fitting this hood on my 15' TEP tomorow. I want to see how it looks and vibes with the 4runner. Most importantly, I want to see if I like it on my 4runner, since looks are subjective and of course everything is not for everyone lol

Not sure how I feel about this one... and not in a bad way... haha

I'm trying to imagine what this would look like on the 4runner. I think it could look right if paired with the right bumper. If it was me, I would color match which I assume you will be doing and then paint the vents red to match the rest of my car. My only concern with this would be how exposed the engine is to the outside weather. Seems like snow/rain would get right into the engine unless the water is collected and drained somewhere but hard to tell from the picture.

I love louvered hoods but have never ben a fan of putting a camaro style scoop on the hoods with them. Everyone has their flavor though and like you said looks are subjective. Good luck on your install!

Haha... yeah im pretty sure that 4th Gen viper hood was the one R&D'd on my 03 4runner last year. This was on my 4th gen for testing before they finalized the skeleton. How did you like it?

I dont have a 5th Gen, but I think it might be kind of cool. Will be different for sure and different can be a good thing, Cant wait to see the finished product.
