A lot. I once considered flat black for my hood. My relationship with mud and puddles negates that need. My hood is covered by the first day... as well as the engine bay.

Thanks to all that came out to play the "forum opinion vs facts game". I had a blast reading all your comments. Lots of good points made and funny jokes/memes mentioned.

So - we tesfitted this hood yesterday to check the fit, clearance, and other gaps to provide feedback to the manufacturer.
I also test drove it on a washboard road at +60mph to simulate off road driving conditions. Hood was sturdy, and vibrated a bit, but not much more my OEM trail hood does in the same conditions. This was noted by the manufacturer for minor revision.

At the end of the day, I passed on my detailed review of the product with some recommendations, along with all the funny comments from here so that they can also get a good laugh at the pictures and the sense of humor here

(and No InV4DrZm is not the manufacturer- its made by a company called Extreme Dimensions - as the name suggests its an extreme hood, and like I said before, its not for everybody)

the vents would maybe look okay if it didn't have the center scoop, the center scoop looks really bad on this one and on the 4th gen version.

I actually did not take a picture of the underside, but, its the same skeleton as the OEM with just the cut outs showing the vents from the underside.
(If you remove the flame retardant/ insulator fabric matt form your hood, it will look just like that except with vents)



The matte black is the unpainted flat/color that the manufacturer uses.
