Maybe Ford and GM need to crash and burn before they can be re-built into something somebody actually wants. Beaten at our own game.

I'll never buy an American automobile again, unless it becomes economically unfeasible through trade tariffs/penalties.

Interesting post...

I am moving to the Chicago area next month and things like this have me scared with my T4R. When I was out there visiting I didn't see anywhere near as many foreign cars as you do in NJ. I also heard a story from a friend who said his sister's Lexus was keyed with BUY AMERICAN when she drove out there 2 years ago.... I know these probably mean nothing but I can’t help but think it is possible.
