vibration around 45 mph in 4r 03 v8

Hi,
So I have this weird vibrations that comes and go, only around 45mph.
After 3 weeks at the dealer, I got new axels, new drive line, tire balance with road presure (not sure about the adapted), and yet the shakes are there. I have a 3" hd lift by ome, no drop kit, new bf at. Any idea?

Couple thoughts/ideas/questions;

- is the vibration felt in the steering wheel mostly or in the chassis!
- is it only when braking or just rolling along?
- have you switched tires and rims to rule those out?
- does is happen more when on the throttle or also off throttle?
- does it happen more when tires are cold or in the first 1-2 miles of driving after it sits and cools down?
- how many miles on the Runner and have the calipers been replaced?

Chassis vibration, in very mellow rpm, around 45 mph. Will stop if I let off the gas, or if I hit the gas (2000rpm).
I'm on 102k, rotated tires include spare, road force all tires, checked calipers, but didn't replace. Uneven wear on front left caliper, but not too bad. New front excels and drive line.

Bfgoodrich at, did you use equal or use weights?

Also did they do a collapse and reseat the bead on the tires. Tires can be out of round.

New axles from the dealer or aftermarket?

This sounds like it might be "rumble strip" symptoms.

Search for that phrase and see if it matches your experience?

If you're on the throttle and getting the vibration, push the shifter left to get into 4th gear. If that solves most of it, that may be what you need to look into.

Though you have an '03 so not sure if that is the 3+D or 4+D transmission?

Greydog, you named my problem! Thanks!
since the front excels and drive line was replaced (OEM modified to lifted geometry by dealer), I'm going to get some of this "instant Shudder" stuff before I bring it back to the shop. I read through the "rumble strip" thread, and will follow.

A bunch of guy have had some luck reducing this with 2-3 drain and fills on the trans pan. Not recommend to power flush at that mileage.

Update

I have added Lubegard 60902 transmission fluid protectant (3 oz.) and Lubegard 19610 Dr Tranny (2 oz.) this was 4 days ago, so far no rumble strip symptoms.

Moab was great. fins and other trails ware no brainer to the 4runner.
Itook it back in to a toyota dealership, got the torque replaced, and no vibration since, it has been a month. great thing I had the extended warranty!
