Vibration at low speeds, smooth driving at 60 mph and up

1990 Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 - 3.0L vin V 2959cc type.

My truck vibrates and shimmies as it drives down the road at slow speeds, but once I get going on the highway and the speed hits 55 mph, it starts to smooth out. At 65 mph, the truck drives like a normal car -- no vibration at all. Between 35 and 45 mph though, it is shaking really really bad. Based on how it rolls, it feels like the source of the trouble is coming from the front right wheel.

Any thoughts?

This. Take it somewhere with a tire balancer that can balance based on Road Force.

^^^what they said. Ive been working at a tire shop for 5+ yrs and i can say around 90% of people with that issue need a balance/alignment or lack of rotation causes choppy tires. Start simple

and at the same time - have them check the wheel bearings for excessive play.
