I have a stock '85 4runner, 22RE. At Hwy speeds of 70-75mph it feels like one (or both) of the front wheels is bouncing, it shacks the steering wheel and my teeth. I have had the alignment and load balanced, all fine. A little history; the truck has hit a curb hard enough to blow out a tire and in the same accident center bunched a brick wall hard enough to bend the frame. (I had the frame straightened) It seems this vibration could have started then. A few people have told me I have a bent spindle. Its 4WD, what spindle? Does anyone have a diagram of this front end, its parts, and what do I replace to fix this bent something.

did you replace the tire that blew out? Its probably seperating and could go at any minute, the rim could be bent- balancing wont fix that. axle housing could be bent as well. I got tboned in my runner last year, only got hit at about 20 miles an hour but it still bent my axle housing

If you hit hard enough to bend the frame the possibilities are many.
The frame could still be tweaked a bit, the front axle housing could be bent, any number of things inside the axle on that side could be messed up (including the spindle).
You did replace the tire and rim, didn't you?
