Vibrations and shut off?

Hello all, I have an 03 Sport and I Just did the valve cover gaskets and put in a set of new spark plugs. Now when I warm up the vehicle and bring up the rpms the car idles really rough and shuts off at a complete stop. What can be the problem? Could it be i possibly switched up the coils plugs? Would that cause it? I can't think of anything else... all the other electronic connectors were hooked up correctly. Can anyone think of something? The alternator is brand spanking new because I just changed it along with the belt tensioner so I know that cannot be the problem. The vehicle always feels like it just wants to die unless I keep it at really low revs and drive extremely slow lol. Help would be appreciated greatly!

If anyone comes across this post and is having the same problem where the vehicle shuts off shortly after starting it and it idles extremely rough when coming to a stop and the vehicle dies on you. Try changing your MAF sensor. That was the problem with mine. Now she's on the road again.

have you cleaned the maf sensor?
you spray electrical cleaner on the inside of the sensor, youll see 2 small wires in there.
also clean out the throttle body?

You don't want to use a electrical/electronic cleaner on the MAF sensor, you need to get a specific cleaner for MAF sensors or it could do more harm than good.

CRC MAF cleaner is what I use, it can be found at most all auto parts stores
