I'm looking to track down a rear axle for an e-locker swap. My truck has 4.10s, so I want to make sure the axle I'm looking at getting actually has 4.10s and the locker. The yard that has the axle says it does, but I'd like to confirm before I drive an hour and a half to get it. Can anyone run this VIN to get some info for me?

Just have them look at the door tag and it will be coded with which rear gearing it has.

if you want to check the axel ratio and the truck is near you use this: it is the most accurate and easiest site.

OK, so I'm a bit confused by that link. My axle code (VZN185L-GKPGKA)had three matches, which means I'm either 3.909, 4.10 or 4.3. How do I know which one I have?

Here's a second question to that as well: I don't know how much I trust my placard; I have a 2001 Sport Edition and the placard states 225/70R15 Tires, even though the sport came with 265/70R16s on the Limited "coke bottle" wheels. So, even if I'm able to decipher my axle code from the placard, how do I know it's accurate?
