Might anyone know if the VIN number is engraved/stamped/etched into the actual frame of a 2014 Trail? If so, where might it be found?

not aware of them ever being stamped on a frame..only the door jamb and the dashboard.

Right frame rail in the right front wheel area, rearward of the spring/shock assembly.
